Sasha Derby is a Financial Analyst in the Consulting Group in the Midtown Manhattan office.
As a Financial Analyst, Sasha supports various brokerage teams with complex and comprehensive financial models to help clients understand the implications of real estate occupancy decisions and ownership strategies. He provides key analytical support tailored to specific situations and the needs of each client.
Prior to joining CBRE, Sasha was an Investment Analyst at Republic Capital in New York, where he focused on evaluating investment opportunities.
Sasha graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University’s D’Amore McKim School of Business in 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in both Finance and Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Economics. At Northeastern, he completed two, six-month Co-ops. His first Co-op was at Harvard Management Company, as a Financial Planning & Analysis intern, and his second Co-op was at Valens Research, as an Equity and Credit Analyst. Sasha was also a member of the Northeastern University Student Value Fund, the University’s premier value-oriented investment fund.
