He specializes in the office sector and advises investors and tenants as Senior Vice President in the Advisory & Transaction Services Group. His clients' include large multi-national institutional investors and corporate end users, as well as small dynamic start-ups, local investors, and locally owned businesses. His depth of experience and applied practical knowledge deliver superior outcomes for his clients. Throughout his career Hillenmeyer has negotiated leases totaling over 10 million square feet and over $1.6 billion in total transaction value.
Hillenmeyer joined CBRE in 2012. Together with his partners, J.T. Martin, Janelle Gallagher, and Alexandra Rule, he is part of a cohesive team with broad and diverse skill sets that jointly work to help deliver measurable results. Collectively, they have completed over 400 lease transactions within the past 5 years.
Hillenmeyer began his career at The Stout & Teague Companies in Washington, D.C., where he directed in-house leasing responsibilities for the firm and provided third-party landlord and tenant representation services to a broad range of owners and end users throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. While at Stout & Teague, Hillenmeyer negotiated leases totaling over 1 million square feet and over $150 million in transaction value. He was a five-time recipient of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors’ Developer Agent Award and was awarded as a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club in 2005.
After relocating to the Nashville area in 2007, Hillenmeyer served as Vice President – Corporate Services for ProVenture Commercial Real Estate, where he provided third party brokerage and tenant representation services to office and medical office end-users in the Nashville metropolitan area and other markets. While at ProVenture, Hillenmeyer negotiated leases totaling over $50 million in transaction value.
