As a Vice Chairman in CBRE’s Newport Beach Office, with a primary focus on multifamily loan originations. His journey in the professional real estate sector began in 2007 as an analyst at CBRE Melody (now known as CBRE | Debt & Structured Finance) in Newport Beach, California, under the mentorship of Troy Tegeler. In 2014, he joined the CBRE Multifamily production team, tasked with sourcing competitive capital and providing customized financing solutions to clients.

Together with his colleagues, Troy Tegeler and Ryan Greer, their team successfully executed 196 transactions in 2022 and 2023. The average deal size was $36.12 million, summing up to over $7.08 billion in total transaction volume. Since Trevor's transition to the production team in 2014, he and his team have facilitated the origination of $28.15 billion across 915 transactions, encompassing more than 244,000 multifamily units. Their outstanding performance led to the team's recognition with the Gary J. Beban Teamwork Award in 2019, an honor given to high-performing teams exhibiting shared purpose, complementary roles, collective responsibility, and exceptional client service. In 2023, they were acknowledged as Connect CRE’s Top Mortgage Brokers and Lenders.

The team, with its specialization in multifamily loan originations nationwide, has consistently secured a position among CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance National Top Overall Multifamily Production Teams. They were recognized as the #1 Freddie Mac originator for CBRE’s Western Region in 2007, 2012, 2015, and 2016, as well as the #1 FNMA originator for CBRE in 2017 and 2018. Their vast experience and unparalleled dedication have earned them the top spot in Multifamily originations at CBRE, a position they have maintained since 2004. Currently, they hold the record for the largest Multifamily Origination in CBRE history, having executed a portfolio finance in 2016 that involved 49 properties nationwide and totaled $1.651 billion.

The team’s lead producers - Troy Tegeler, Trevor Breaux and Ryan Greer – along with a team of experienced underwriting specialists and transaction coordinators combine their unparalleled industry knowledge and unrivaled work ethic to bring superior results to their clients.

Leveraging knowledge gained through the successful origination of and participation in nearly 2,500 multifamily debt transactions totaling $69+ Billion since 2000, the team brings extensive expertise to every transaction, providing a unique perspective to the real time market conditions shaping the multifamily industry.

Troy and his partners have been responsible for the direct origination of more than 1,443 transactions, $35+ Billion in volume and more than 335,000 units across 39 states. The team seamlessly works together to provide optimal client outcomes across all transaction sizes, successfully completing nationwide transactions ranging in size from $1.0 Million supplementals to portfolio financing in excess of $1.65 Billion. In 2022 & 2023, the GLA Multifamily DSF team completed 196 transactions with an average deal size of $36.12 million, totaling more than $7.08 Billion in transaction volume, with 36 different lending sources.
