Mr. Tegeler, Vice Chairman at CBRE's Newport Beach office, initiated his journey with L.J. Melody in Houston in 1995, prior to its merger with CBRE in 1996. He became a part of the loan production team in March 1997 and by December of the same year, he moved to Southern California to facilitate the company's regional expansion.

The Greater Los Angeles Multifamily DSF team at CBRE excels in originating multifamily loans across the nation. They leverage their robust network of lenders to procure competitive capital, while offering tailored financing solutions. Producers Troy Tegeler, Trevor Breaux, and Ryan Greer, are backed by a proficient team of underwriting experts and transaction coordinators. Their combined industry expertise and dedication ensure the delivery of exceptional outcomes for their clients.

Possessing extensive experience from participating in over 2,500 multifamily debt transactions, which cumulatively exceed $69 billion since 2000, the team offers an unparalleled viewpoint on the multifamily industry, underpinned by real-time market analyses.

Troy has overseen the direct origination of over 1,443 transactions, amounting to a volume of more than $35 billion and involving over 350,000 units across 39 states. The CBRE GLA Multifamily DSF team collaborates effectively to deliver superior outcomes for clients across all transaction sizes, successfully finalizing deals nationwide ranging from $1.0 million supplementals to portfolio financing exceeding $1.65 billion. In 2022 and 2023, the team completed 196 transactions with an average deal size of $36.12 million, accumulating a transaction volume of over $7.08 billion, involving 36 distinct lending sources.

Troy has consistently been accredited as the leading producer for the Newport Beach office at CBRE for the past 20 years. He has also been an esteemed member of the CBRE Colbert Coldwell Circle, which honors the top 3% of the company's producers nationwide, annually since 2005. In 2019, the team earned the Gary J. Beban Teamwork Award, recognizing high-performing teams that demonstrate exceptional collaboration, shared accountability, and outstanding client performance. In 2023, Connect CRE recognized the team as Top Mortgage Brokers and Lenders.

Guided by Troy's leadership, the team consistently ranks as one of CBRE's top Debt & Structured Finance National Multifamily Production Teams. They were named the #1 Freddie Mac originator for CBRE's Western Region in 2007, 2012, 2015, and 2016, as well as the #1 FNMA originator for CBRE in 2017 and 2018. Leveraging knowledge gained through the successful origination of and participation in over 2,600 multifamily debt transactions totaling $72+ billion since 2000, the team brings extensive expertise to every transaction, providing a unique perspective to the real time market conditions shaping the multifamily industry.

The team has been responsible for the direct origination of more than 1,500 transactions, $38+ billion in volume and more than 368,000 units across 40 states. The team seamlessly works together to provide optimal client outcomes across all transaction sizes, successfully completing nationwide transactions ranging in size from $1.0 million supplementals to portfolio financing in excess of $1.65 billion. Since 2022, the GLA Multifamily DSF team completed 267 transactions with an average deal size of $40.9 million, totaling more than $9.8 billion in transaction volume, with 33 different lending sources.
