CBRE announced Kim Follett has been promoted to Managing Director, where she will be the market leader of CBRE’s Sacramento, Roseville, Reno and Central Valley offices. Follett will replace David Brennan, who will assume a new role as Managing Director of Industrial and Logistics in Northern California. Brennan will lead CBRE’s industrial sector in Northern California.

In her new role, Follett will oversee more than 60 producers across a variety of disciplines, including leasing, property sales, and debt and structure finance.

“Kim has made an extraordinary impact on CBRE’s business and professionals, helping position CBRE as a market leader across Sacramento, Central Valley and Reno. This promotion is a reflection of her significant contributions within the firm and her broader leadership within the business and real estate communities,” said Joe Wallace, President, Advisory Services in Northern California and Reno.

Follett was most recently Senior Sales Director, where she was instrumental in establishing CBRE’s leading market share in the region. She is currently serving as President of the Association of Commercial Real Estate; is a member of CREW Sacramento, NAIOP and LAI Sacramento; and an Ambassador of Donate Life California.

“I am incredibly honored by this opportunity and grateful for the support and guidance of Dave Brennan and the broader CBRE leadership team. I am fully committed to the continued growth and success of CBRE by delivering exceptional results to our clients,” said Follett.

Brennan previously served as Senior Managing Director for CBRE, overseeing the Sacramento region since 2006. In his new role, Brennan will focus on expanding the company’s leading industrial practice across leasing, sales, debt and structured finance in Northern California.

“The industrial sector continues to evolve and I’m excited to take on this new challenge. The region is in great hands with my longtime colleague, Kim Follett, stepping into the leadership role,” said Brennan.
