CBRE announced that Nicholas “Nick” Paulic and AJ Cordero have joined the Honolulu office. Both will assist in expanding the Honolulu office’s retail leasing, tenant and landlord representation, and acquisition and disposition presence throughout the islands.

"Nick and AJ deeply understand the owners and users in the Hawaii market and will help us continue to grow our retail market share in the region," said Blair Bonuccelli, managing director for CBRE in Hawaii. "Their new retail team is thrilled to partner alongside such strong, talented, and experienced brokers, allowing them to support our clients better.”

Mr. Paulic joined CBRE as a senior vice president, bringing 14 years of experience in commercial real estate. He was previously with SRS Real Estate Partners on the National Net Lease Group’s team, where his primary focus was single-tenant and multi-tenant net lease investment sales in all four Hawaiian Islands and the mainland. Before SRS, Mr. Paulic was president and principal broker for Hawaii-based Sequoia Realty Group, where he oversaw business operations and led the company’s accounts, including institutional investors, REITs, family offices, Fortune 500 retailers, as well as many of Hawaii’s largest real estate owners and developers.

Joining CBRE as a vice president, Mr. Cordero has nine years of retail commercial real estate experience. He previously worked at SRS Real Estate Partners on the National Net Lease Group’s team, where he and Mr. Paulic established the company’s Honolulu office. Throughout his career, Mr. Cordero has served the commercial real estate needs of retailers and investors, specializing in shopping center leasing, retail ground up developments, and the disposition of multi-tenant retail properties. His business partnership with Mr. Paulic started when they co-founded Sequoia Realty Group.

The pair has represented several national and local retailers throughout the state of Hawaii. The duo will join the brokerage team of Wendell F. Brooks, III, Jo McGarry, James L. "Kimo" Greenwell, Melisa Preus, Kenneth G. "Kenny" Whiting and Kelly Graf.
