CBRE Promotes John Parrett to Vice Chair

CBRE announced today that John Parrett has been promoted to Vice Chair, the highest rank for CBRE professionals within the company. A member of the firm’s market-leading Debt & Structured Finance Group, John structures capital markets solutions for owners of multifamily and commercial real estate properties nationwide.

“Since joining CBRE, John has become an invaluable member of our Chicago Debt and Structured Finance team,” said John A. Latessa Jr., president of CBRE Advisory Services in the Midwest. “His dedication to our clients and commitment to excellence are reflected with this well-earned promotion.

Since joining CBRE in 2006, Parrett has been directly involved in the origination, underwriting, structuring, and closing of over 250 transactions, totaling more than $8.2 billion. Prior to joining CBRE, John was at PGIM where he originated and underwrote first mortgage and mezzanine debt for their balance sheet, bridge, securitized, and GSE lending programs.

Parrett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois.
