CBRE Secures $55 Million Loan for Refinancing of Peachtree Battle Shopping Center in Atlanta’s Buckhead Neighborhood

CBRE has secured a $55 million loan for the refinancing of Peachtree Battle Shopping Center in Buckhead, one of Atlanta’s most dense and affluent neighborhoods. The 152,951-sq.-ft. shopping center is fully leased and is anchored by a Publix Super Market.
Richard Henry, Mike Ryan, Brian Linnihan, and Taylor Crowder with CBRE Capital Markets’ Debt & Structured Finance in Atlanta represented the borrower, Branch Properties. The $55 million loan was secured through Thrivent Financial.

Located at 2333-2365 Peachtree Road NE, Peachtree Battle is situated on 12.6 acres and is comprised of three distinctive sections. The first is a 32,836-sq.-ft. free-standing grocery building, which has been leased to Publix since 1988. The second is a 76,122-sq.-ft. single-story retail building that is leased to several tenants, including Walgreens, Ace Hardware, CAVA, and Onward Reserve. The last section includes three multistory buildings and is called Peachtree Battle Promenade. Totaling 43,993 sq. ft., this section is home to 14 tenants.
