VeeCor Properties has broken ground on Florida Logistics Center, a new 290-acre industrial development at the Interstate 4/Interstate 95 Interchange in Daytona Beach, Florida. Ideally situated for statewide distribution, this landmark logistics park will be highly coveted by industrial users due to its unique highway connectivity at the interchange of two of the state’s most significant transportation nodes.
David Murphy, Monica Wonus and Gabriella Gissy of CBRE will be leasing the project on behalf of the developer, VeeCor Properties.
The Florida Logistics Center is designed to meet the growing demand for modern logistics and distribution facilities in Central Florida. The site will offer flexible build-to-suit industrial space ranging from 130,000 square feet to over 3 million square feet. The fully entitled site has public water, FPL electric and TECO natural gas. Located on South Williamson Boulevard, the project provides strategic access to Interstate 95, Daytona Beach International Airport, the Port of Daytona and several transportation networks.
Construction on two buildings is well underway, with completion anticipated in 2027. We are excited to see continued progress at this landmark development.
“The Florida Logistics Center comes at a time when user demand for well-located industrial space remains strong across the region,” said Murphy, Vice Chairman at CBRE. “With two buildings now under construction and delivery targeted for 2027, we are excited to see progress continue on this transformative site. Its size, flexibility and access to major transportation corridors make it a significant addition to the Daytona Beach industrial pipeline.”
“With the increase of freight traveling down the Interstate 95 corridor from the Ports of Savannah and Jacksonville, the Interstate 4/Interstate 95 interchange is ideally suited for statewide distribution,” Murphy added. “I can’t think of a better location to capture the growth of distribution along the east coast of Florida.”
A recent groundbreaking ceremony was attended by numerous state, county and local elected officials and other senior officials. Volusia County Council member Matt Reinhart and Daytona Beach Commissioner Stacy Cantu were among the speakers who praised the project.
Anthony Coraci Basile, a Principal of VeeCor, noted, “This groundbreaking represents a big milestone for Daytona Beach and Volusia County and celebrates VJ and Anthony Coraci’s long-term vision for Volusia County, which for decades has focused on responsible development in planning a cohesive infrastructure enabling the area to reach its full potential.”
