MSI Surfaces Enters Jacksonville Market with Acquisition of 67,323-SF Industrial Property Arranged by CBRE

CBRE has arranged the acquisition of a 67,323-sq.-ft. warehouse located at 8443 Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville, Florida. California-based MSI Surfaces purchased the property from YG Capital for $7.8 million.

Ben Stewart and Kyle Fisher with CBRE Industrial & Logistics represented the buyer, MSI Surfaces, in the off-market transaction that closed on Oct. 18.

The Baymeadows Road property marks MSI Surfaces’ first location in the Jacksonville market, serving as a sales and distribution location of countertops and slabs along with flooring and tile products.

“After finding no active listings for industrial space on the southside of Jacksonville, our team approached YG Capital and presented deal terms that were appealing to both the buyer and seller. To do this, we worked with contractors to understand buildout costs and with the tenant vacating the property,” said Ben Stewart, a Senior Vice President with CBRE.

Built in 1982, the two-story building includes warehouse, office and showroom space. It features five dock-high doors, 24-foot clearance height, 68 auto parking spaces, and direct frontage along Baymeadows Road with two points of ingress and egress. The property is located less than one mile from Interstate 95.
