Tali’s Bagels & Schmear Expands to Kailua

CBRE arranged a new 1,120-square-foot lease for the popular Tali’s Bagels & Schmear in the Kailua Center at 26 Hoolai Street in Kailua, Hawaii. This is the company’s second location.

“Tali’s Bagels and Schmear is a great compliment to the current tenant lineup at the Kailua Center and is an exciting addition for the Kailua community to enjoy New York-style bagels and tasty schmear fillings,” stated Kelly Graf, an associate at CBRE.

CBRE’s Ms. Graf and Matthew McKeever represented the landlord, Twenty First Technologies Corporation, in this transaction. Joe Di Condina with Coldwell Banker Pacific represented the tenant Tali’s Bagels and Schmear.

“We are so excited to open Tali's Bagels in the Kailua Center. When we got our start at the Farmers Markets, Sundays in Kailua were our favorite, with loyal customers returning every week. We are so glad to be back for our old customers and to meet so many new ones,” said both Talia and Kelly Bongolan-Schwartz, Tali’s Bagels and Schmear co-owners.

Tali's Bagels started in the kitchen of co-owner Talia and Kelly Bongolan-Schwartz during the pandemic. The company opened its first brick & mortar location in Ward Centre in the summer of 2023. Their menu features coffee, keiki bagels, a variety of schmear options and a stacked sandwich menu for breakfast and lunch.
