Bruce Westwood-Booth is a Vice Chairman of CBRE’s Corporate Capital Markets team, which provides advice, analysis and execution for alternative capital solutions for corporately-owned and occupied real estate. Based in Chicago, Bruce works with the CCM team to grow the practice in the U.S., with the aim of strengthening CBRE’s position as the market leader in financially structured real estate transactions.
Bruce is an accomplished capital markets executive with 30+ years of corporate finance experience. He has led numerous nationally renowned transaction assignments valued in excess of $30 billion during his career. He has been involved with or led the capital market efforts for some of the most high-profile headquarter, build-to-suit and sale leaseback assignments in the U.S.
Prior to joining CBRE, Bruce was Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he specialized in corporate finance activities for the Capital Markets Group. While there, his work included portfolio optimization through own verses lease analysis, transaction structuring services, and execution of property acquisitions and dispositions, sale leasebacks, synthetic leases, mortgage financing and build-to-suit leases.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Westwood-Booth was a founding member of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group’s Lombard US Equipment Finance Corporation (LUSEF), as Executive Vice President and Region Manager. While at RBS, he managed the Eastern Region, which comprised 22 states and focused on direct originations of financial solutions for large companies. He previously managed the Eastern Region of Heller Financials' Commercial Equipment Finance Group (CEF) and Heller’s Special Purpose Property Group, where he worked at the Treasurer and CFO level to create financial solutions for mid-sized to large companies.
