Mark Hawks is an Executive Vice President in CBRE Atlanta’s Landlord Representation Group. Mr. Hawks is part of Atlanta’s premier owner representation industrial team for the Southeast. He is recognized as an expert in the field of industrial real estate, having completed in excess of 1000 lease and sale transactions over his 30 year career in the Atlanta Industrial Real Estate Market.
Mr. Hawks and the CBRE Atlanta Agency team provide a united, single source for property owners seeking to lease or sell any industrial asset, from small business parks to large bulk warehouses. The team combine their knowledge and experience with the unmatched CBRE platform to deliver exceptional solutions that drive value and growth. The Atlanta Agency team has combined for over 290 lease / sale transactions over the previous five years, totaling approximately 23 million square and over 1000 acres of land with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $1.1 Billion.
With an extensive background in ground up development, Mr. Hawks combines his 30 years of leasing / sale experience with an instinct for locating new development sites for his clients, providing a high level of market knowledge for product type and site plan designs to meet the market.
Mr. Hawks joined CBRE following the CBRE acquisition of Resource Real Estate Partners in January 2013. Prior to joining Resource, Mr. Hawks worked with an Atlanta-based national developer, Oakmont Industrial Group, where he was directly responsible for expanding the Atlanta portfolio, which included site selection, underwriting and leasing for new developments and second-generation opportunities. Previous to Oakmont, Mr. Hawks gained eight years of industrial real estate experience with King Industrial Realty in Atlanta, representing both tenants and landlords in lease, sale and build-to-suit transactions.
Mr. Hawks is an Atlanta native, active in the community and is married with three children.
