Todd Barton is an Executive Vice President in CBRE’s Industrial Properties group in Atlanta and is a part of Atlanta’s premier industrial owner representation team for the Southeast. Mr. Barton is recognized as an expert in the field of industrial real estate, having completed numerous transactions involving large, complex bulk warehouse and manufacturing properties. Mr. Barton and his team combine their market knowledge and significant experience base with CBRE’s industry leading platform to deliver exceptional results.
Recognized for his ability to mesh analytical market statistics with real time “in the trenches” market intelligence, Mr. Barton regularly interacts with the highest levels of leadership in the industrial arena. Barton and his team have consistently produced market reports that provide clients with a finger on the true pulse of the Southeastern industrial market.
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Barton has consulted leading industrial developers, investors and users in the strategy and implementation of national marketing programs, the repositioning of troubled assets and opportunistic property acquisitions. Mr. Barton has been particularly successful in the marketing of large industrial properties in metro Atlanta and throughout the Southeast, having completed some of the largest transactions on record. In the past five years, the team has completed more than 290 lease / sale transactions totaling approximately 23 million square feet and over 1,000 acres of land with an aggregate transaction value of more than $1.1 billion.
Mr. Barton is an Atlanta native, active in his community and is married with two children.
