CBRE announced that it represented Williams, the energy infrastructure company, in the acquisition of Williams Tower, a 1.4 million-square-foot Class A office tower at 2800 Post Oak Blvd. in Houston, Texas. Williams will occupy approximately 360,000 SF of the building as its Houston headquarters.

CBRE’s Rich Pancioli and Patrick Benoist represented Williams in the acquisition of the property, and Eastdil represented Invesco Real Estate.

Williams, the building’s largest tenant and namesake, has maintained a presence in Williams Tower for more than 40 years. In fall 2025, the company expanded and renewed its occupancy at the property, reflecting its long-term commitment to the building and the Houston market. The acquisition represents a natural progression of that strategy, providing Williams with long-term control of the asset that serves as its Houston headquarters.

“Williams has demonstrated its long-term commitment to this asset through a series of strategic real estate decisions, including the expansion and renewal of its headquarters occupancy and now the acquisition of the building,” said Pancioli, Executive Vice President at CBRE. “This transaction allows the company to align its real estate strategy with its long-term business objectives while securing control of one of Houston’s most recognizable office properties.”

Williams Tower is a 64-story building located in the heart of Houston’s Galleria/Uptown District. Building amenities include a conference center, multiple culinary offerings, a fully staffed top-tier fitness facility and walking distance to hundreds of world-class retail and restaurant options. The property has long been an icon of the Houston skyline and hosts many prominent tenants.

CBRE’s Rima Soroka and Nina Seyyedin, who previously represented ownership in leasing activities as well as the extension and expansion in 2025 at Williams Tower, will continue to lead leasing efforts at the property on behalf of the new ownership.
