John Ferris joined CBRE in 2009 and currently serves as a Senior Vice President with the Retail team where he specializes in landlord and tenant representation throughout New England. John has close to 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, representing both national and regional clients, and has worked with many of New England’s top landlords and retailers.
John has worked with strong national and regional landlord clients throughout his career to implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to qualify potential tenants for existing shopping centers, new developments and redevelopments. He has also worked on restaurant dispositions, working with restaurant operators and landlords to backfill restaurant locations with strong, credit operators.
John has successfully represented a diverse array of tenants over the past decade including apparel, restaurants, entertainment, service and fitness businesses. He has also helped his clients implement and execute market penetration strategies throughout New England.
Prior to joining CBRE Retail, John worked as an Associate for SRS Real Estate Partners (formerly Staubach Retail) Northeast region where he focused on dispositions/portfolio dispositions, landlord representation and tenant representation.
