Tyler joined CBRE in 2022 and now leads the urban retail practice for the Boston office’s New England Retail Advisory & Transaction Services team, where he specializes in tenant & landlord representation as well as retail property disposition.
Tyler works with new-to-market retailers, brands with existing stores in Boston looking to reposition their presence in the market, and corporate clients such as Bank of America on new locations, renewals, and property dispositions.
In recent years, Tyler has completed transactions on behalf of Boot Barn, Playa Bowls, Woof Gang, Planet Fitness, Comcast Xfinity, and Ace Pickleball Club amongst others.
On the landlord side Tyler works with major institutional landlords such as KPR Centers and Asana Partners, prominent regional landlords such as Crosspoint Associates, and local property owners in leasing a mix of urban storefronts and restaurant spaces, freestanding retail properties, and shopping centers across Greater Boston.
He also assists the capital markets teams at CBRE with retail underwriting analysis, market comparables, and the pitching of properties for sale.
Tyler graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Public Policy. He lives in Walpole, MA but grew up in the North End and Charlestown neighborhoods of Boston.
