Joseph Khouri joined CBRE in April of 2013 as First Vice President of Transaction
and Advisory Services in the Cleveland, Ohio office. His unique depth of knowledge
and experience originated in real estate development, where he held the position as
Director of Leasing for nearly 11 years with a national developer based in Westlake,
Ohio. Joseph is one of the leaders in the NE Ohio office, by growing the retail practice
group.
Mr. Khouri’s comprehensive understanding of development, leasing and sales along
with market knowledge, integrity, creativity and hard work make him a valuable asset
to the CBRE team. Joseph’s reputation and tireless work ethic have enabled him to
establish and maintain strong relationships with many high profile clients. Delivering
best in class service, and getting best case results for his clients.
Prior to joining the CBRE team, Joseph managed transactions on a national portfolio
of properties, where his scope of work included business development, negotiations,
financial feasibility analysis, strategic site selection, for new development and
redevelopment. From entitlements, to pre-leasing to disposition and acquisition,
Joseph has a unique, well-rounded experience in various facets of the business.
He has successfully negotiated and closed over $425+ million dollars in transactions
throughout a successful career primarily focused in retail and office leasing and
development, investment sales, and his list of assignments and transactions continue
to expand. While in the development business, Joseph was responsible for managing
transactions on a portfolio of 3+ million square feet of retail, office, land, and light
industrial space in ten states, marketing properties and negotiating lease or sale
transactions. Additionally, Joseph also has in-depth experience in government and
special use projects having worked on several General Services Administration (GSA)
and Veterans Affairs (VA) sites across the country.
