Matthew Forgione is a Vice President with CBRE Debt & Equity Finance in Atlanta, Georgia. In that capacity, he identifies optimal capital structure for his clients (borrowers) that match both lender and borrower objectives. He manages the team that performs all aspects of property valuation/underwriting, market research and financing proposal presentation. Mr. Forgione also presents the borrower’s equity and debt requests to the capital markets. Since joining CBRE in 2003, he has been involved in over $26.6 billion of transaction volume.
Prior to working at CBRE, Mr. Forgione was a Real Estate Analyst with Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LLP. There, he served as a liaison between the client and the lender, providing lenders with all relevant information necessary to complete an assignment. He also developed and qualified potential lenders to ensure the financing requests were presented to appropriate lenders.
Mr. Forgione was also a Senior Associate in the Valuation Services Group at Arthur Anderson LLP. There he handled supervisory and technical review responsibilities for a department generating $1.7 million in valuation and consulting services annually.
