Matt C. Mulvihill is a Vice Chairman at CBRE focusing on industrial occupier solutions. With 20+ years in the industry and over a dozen years at CBRE, Matt partners with clients’ operations, logistics, labor, and finance teams to drive operational and cost efficiencies across dispositions, acquisitions, leases, build to suits, and investment sales. He has completed more than $1 billion in transactions, exceeding 42.5 million rentable square feet, and has represented clients including Ace Hardware, DSV, Ferrara Candy, Ferrero USA, Nippon Express, and Starbucks.
Matt was named to CBRE’s National Industrial Advisory Council in 2013 and promoted to Vice Chairman in 2021, as one of the youngest industrial brokers to achieve this honor.
Born in Des Moines, he holds a BA and MA from Iowa State University, where he wrestled on scholarship all 5 years. He serves on the board of Volunteers of America of Illinois and volunteers as a high school wrestling coach. Matt leads a collaborative occupier-focused team—Calum Payne, Phil DeBoer, Genna Nicketta, JD Saporta, Liz Horvath, and Clayton Thorson—delivering scalable, practical real estate strategies.
