Matthew Greenberg is a First Vice President at CBRE specializing in the acquisition and disposition of retail properties throughout Southern California and the Western United States. Beginning his career at CBRE as an analyst, Matthew leverages a data driven approach to deliver strategic, client focused solutions. He is recognized for successfully executing complex transactions ranging from grocery anchored shopping centers to urban infill redevelopment opportunities.
Partnered with Alex Kozakov and Patrick Wade, his team is dedicated to building lasting relationships by providing best-in-class advisory services. This commitment has solidified their team's reputation as leaders in the real estate community. Their local expertise, combined with CBRE’s global platform, enables them to consistently deliver exceptional results. Throughout his tenure at CBRE, Matthew has completed over $1 billion in sale transactions.
Matthew holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University’s Seaver College, where he teaches Real Estate Investment on the Malibu campus. In addition, he is a keynote speaker for CalCPA, where he regularly shares his perspective on the real estate industry.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Matthew is actively involved in philanthropy, including Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles, where he was honored as Big Brother of the Year.
