Michael is a Senior Associate on Jake Bobek, Scott Steuber, and Jon Azulay's team at CBRE's Century City office in Los Angeles, CA. Together, they have built one of CBRE's preeminent occupier representation teams, with over 60 years of combined experience advising organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies and multi-market professional service firms to regional companies with complex real estate projects.
He helps emerging and corporate companies make real estate decisions, with a client base concentrated in tech, finance, law firms, advanced manufacturing, and entertainment, including a growing focus on the content creation space.
In the search process, he adds value by identifying creative on- and off-market opportunities, spearheading lease negotiations, and ultimately delivering office space to his clients. For landlords, he's involved in all aspects of the transaction services, with primary responsibilities spanning tenant procurement, lead management, market intelligence, and lease negotiations.
What sets his work apart is the team behind him: a dedicated group with the depth and resources few brokers can match. That backing lets him bring an aggressiveness when a deal calls for it, with the execution to deliver superior results. He builds relationships that last well beyond the deal, a reputation his clients have come to count on.
Michael got into this business because he loves the process of starting with a company's goal and working backward to the real estate solution that gets them there. Creating savings and value for a client is what makes a deal worth doing.
With 8 years of CRE experience, he started his career at LA Realty Partners, a boutique shop, before being recruited to CBRE. Originally from Wellesley, Massachusetts, and a graduate of Union College, he's built his career on an outdoorsy, not-afraid-of-a-challenge approach, one that's let him work with emerging companies and entertainment clients out here while staying connected to corporate relationships along the East Coast.
Outside of work, he enjoys golf, surfing, spending time at the beach, and hiking.
