Robert Given is widely recognized as one of South Florida’s most accomplished and trusted real estate professionals. Over the past 36 years, he has led his team through many of the region’s most high-profile assignments, building a legacy of excellence, integrity, and market-shaping results.

Robert has cultivated a team of unmatched talent, attracting global and new-to-market capital into South Florida while aligning investor priorities with long-term performance. His career sales record includes more than 1,000 projects, over 300,000 multifamily units, thousands of acres of land, and numerous development equity and structured finance assignments for suburban and urban mixed-use sites. Collectively, his team has transacted more than $72 billion in built projects—an unparalleled impact on the region’s growth.

Robert began his career with industry leader Trammell Crow Company and later led The Altman Companies before arriving at CBRE in 2002. Since then, he has become a central figure in South Florida’s transformation into a world-class real estate market, guiding landmark deals and nurturing enduring partnerships along the way.

A Tennessean by birth but a South Floridian at heart, Robert has called the region home since the mid-1990s. He is deeply engaged in his community, serving on the boards of The Jack & Jill Center, the University of Florida’s Real Estate Advisory Board, the Seminole Real Estate Fund, and the Urban Land Institute for South Florida and the Caribbean. He is also an active member of the Lauderdale Yacht Club and has been a dedicated supporter of charities including The Dan Marino Foundation, Voices for Children, Habitat for Humanity, Kids at Home, and CBRE Cares.
