CBRE has arranged a 37,206 sq. ft. office lease renewal for Sciame Construction, LLC (Sciame), a New York City-based construction management firm at 14 Wall Street. Sciame will continue to lease the entire second floor of the property for an additional 20 years.
The CBRE team of Bradley Gerla, Jon Cope, Mike Rizzo, and Masha Dudelzak represented the building’s ownership, Roza 14W LLC. CBRE’s Adam Foster, Matt Bergey, Chris Mansfield, and Ryan Luck acted on behalf of Sciame.
“We are thrilled to have been able to negotiate a long-term lease renewal for Sciame that will keep this prominent tenant in the property for another 20 years,” said Gerla. “Given the ownership’s commitment to tenant service and providing the highest-quality space in the Financial District, 14 Wall Street is one of Lower Manhattan’s most sought-after properties.”
14 Wall Street was built in 1910 for the Bankers Trust Company. With its distinctive pyramidal roof, it rises 520 feet above the city. When construction was completed, it was the tallest building in Manhattan. The property is strategically located across from the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, and just steps from Broadway.
“We are extremely pleased to extend our commitment to 14 Wall Street and Lower Manhattan after exploring our options in the market with CBRE,” said Frank J. Sciame, Jr., CEO and Chairman, Sciame. We have always appreciated the on-site management, amenities, convenient access to mass transit, and the proximity to many of our City’s Landmarked Treasures the property offers.”
“It is always gratifying when a long-term tenant decides to renew, and we are extremely pleased that we were able to come to an early agreement on this long-term lease renewal with our valued tenant,” stated Alex Rovt, the principal of Roza 14W LLC.
