Chandler Converse is a highly respected veteran of the industry. Chandler is widely credited with introducing multi-disciplined, analytical tenant representation services to the Cleveland market in 1988. Mr. Converse currently co-heads the leadership of the North East Ohio Business for CBRE.
The former founding partner of Brandon Wiant Converse, Ltd. is also a recognized expert in strategic and complex law firm transactions. By combining a straightforward, factual approach and a thorough understanding of the commercial real estate business, he consistently yields the best transactions in the marketplace for his clients.
Prior to joining Brandon Wiant Converse, Chandler was president of the Ohio Valley Region for LaSalle Partners (formerly The Galbreath Company). Under his leadership, the Northeast Ohio operation grew from three to 35 people and became an industry leader in both tenant representation and property management and leasing. It was one of the Galbreath Company’s most profitable offices in the country. His responsibilities included running the entire Ohio business for LaSalle which consisted of over 20,000,000 sq. ft. of property management and leasing and over 500 employees.
Chandler was a vice president at Cragin Lang where he built the firm’s Corporate Services Group. During his tenure, his group closed transactions valued in excess of $150 million, and before that, he began his career in New York City with The Edward S. Gordon Company.
Specializing in occupier/tenant representation services.
Our practice group exclusively represents tenants and end users – we do not represent any commercial landlords or developers in the region, we do not own any commercial properties which may benefit from shifts or moves in the market, and the only fees we collect are established by our clients at the onset of each engagement.
Being part of a truly global multi-disciplined firm means having the ability to tap into “playbooks” outlining best-in-class practices and consult with experts in the fields of portfolio consulting; strategic execution for sales/leasing; corporate services; property, facilities and project management; appraisal and valuation; and development services.
CBRE’s size and breadth certainly comes with advantages in information and resources. We have had the honor of being named the dominant real estate firm in our area by Cleveland Crain’s Business Journal for the past four years. While we are proud of this distinction, it has come as the result of hard work and our focus on the ultimate maxim – to put the client first.
At the same time, we are a small, immediately accessible, and local team. Each of us is a Cleveland-area resident, and has been dedicated personally or professionally to the downtown landscape for many years.
