Based in Cleveland, Ohio, A.J. co-leads a Global Portfolio Services (GPS) team with Barry Holtzer and Jesse Grant, specializing in global and national corporate real estate partnerships. CBRE’s GPS team actively manages client real estate portfolios for mid-sized, privately held companies and Fortune 500 industry leaders.
A.J. Magner is a corporate real estate leader with focused experience in manufacturing and distribution organizations. A.J. leads integrated, cross functional teams and creates real estate strategies for his clients’ portfolios. He and his team also effectively execute those strategies in markets globally. Most commonly, A.J. personally oversees the implementation of projects consisting of greenfield site selection, headquarters selection/relocation, purpose-built facility sourcing, project financing, sale-leaseback, logistics network implementation, and plant decommissioning and divestments. A.J. provides solutions for and executes his clients’ most complex business real estate projects.
Prior to joining CBRE, A.J. was a vice president and equity partner at The Staubach Company in Cleveland. After Staubach’s acquisition by JLL, A.J. was promoted to Managing Director of a corporate services team responsible for the management of corporate occupier portfolio management and service delivery. Prior to Staubach/JLL, A.J. worked for a multinational chemical company in progressively responsible roles including real estate, facility management, finance and corporate strategy (M&A) with assignments in North America and Europe. A.J. has managed over $3 billion in real estate transactions for his clients and former employers.
