Professional Experience

Michael Bednar is a Senior Lease Administration Analyst on the Global Portfolio Services team. He assists with portfolio services for the team’s corporate clients’ real estate portfolios across the country. This team actively manages global client real estate portfolios for mid-sized, privately held companies and Fortune 500 industry leaders.

Michael has an established and varied background including extensive commercial real estate services experience. He started at CBRE in February of 2019 as a Lease Administration Analyst and in 2023 was promoted to a Senior Analyst. He currently serves on the portfolio services and lease administration portion of the Cleveland-based GPS team. He is responsible for upholding the integrity of their corporate clients’ real estate portfolios by inputting, maintaining, and organizing information for lease dates, accounting, and financial transactions. He assists in ensuring monthly rental payments are made properly and on time, manages the process of onboarding and set-up for new payees in client systems, and handles inquiries from both client and Landlord third parties. Michael also reviews and confirms the input of new information from leases and other legal documents into the database to ensure accuracy. His previous work includes three years in lease administration at Site Centers, formerly DDR Corp, where he processed percentage rent billings and abstracted information from new leases, amendments, and other legal documents.
