As a key member of CBRE’s Land Services team, Gavin specializes in land transactions for ground-up multifamily development across the Carolinas. With a deep understanding of local markets and a collaborative approach, he excels in identifying and securing high-potential development sites. His expertise spans site sourcing, financial underwriting, and evaluating the highest and best use for multifamily investment opportunities.
From initial site identification through to closing, Gavin leads comprehensive marketing strategies and transaction execution, ensuring seamless outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
Prior to joining CBRE, Gavin was with NorthStar REI, where he focused on investment advisory and the capitalization of ground-up multifamily developments. In this role, he specialized in financial analysis, due diligence, and crafting investment strategies for land acquisitions, helping clients navigate complex development opportunities with confidence.
Earlier in his career, Gavin worked at Stout Ventures Multifamily Development, concentrating on project evaluation, underwriting, and due diligence for new multifamily developments. This experience provided a strong foundation in assessing project feasibility and aligning development goals with market dynamics.
