Kevin Kempf is a senior leader on the CBRE Carolinas Multifamily team, where he specializes in the sale of institutional and private capital multifamily investment properties across North and South Carolina. With nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate, Kevin has been based in Charlotte since 2013 and has played a key role in the execution of multifamily transactions totalling several billion dollars in value.
In addition to investment sales, Kevin has deep expertise in the sale of development land for multifamily use and in the capitalization of ground-up multifamily developments. His work spans core Class A and Class B assets, as well as emerging sectors like Build-to-Rent communities.
Before relocating to Charlotte, Kevin worked in Washington, DC, where he focused on investment sales and capital markets for a national commercial real estate firm. Earlier in his career, he began at Cassidy Turley in Indianapolis after graduating from Indiana University.
Kevin is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and an active member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association. Over the years, he has represented a broad range of institutional clients including Starwood Capital Group, Goldman Sachs, Berkshire, Charter Properties, and Weinstein Properties.
